Most patients arrive with more than one skin concern. Pigmentation, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and overall dullness rarely appear in isolation — they share underlying causes and often respond to similar treatment mechanisms.
Quattro Toning was designed with this clinical reality in mind. Rather than targeting a single concern with a single modality, it addresses four interconnected skin issues in one treatment session using a multi-wavelength approach.
What Is Quattro Toning?
Quattro Toning is a multi-wavelength laser toning treatment that addresses pigmentation, enlarged pores, skin texture irregularities, and overall skin tone in a single session. The name reflects the four-concern approach: "quattro" for four. Each wavelength is calibrated to interact with different targets in the skin — melanin deposits, sebaceous gland activity, superficial texture, and the overall reflective quality of the skin surface.
Unlike more aggressive ablative laser treatments that require significant downtime, Quattro Toning is designed to be a low-to-no-downtime procedure suitable for regular maintenance.
The Four Concerns Addressed
1. Pigmentation Excess melanin production — whether from sun exposure, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), or hormonal changes — creates uneven skin tone. The laser energy targets melanin deposits and disrupts them, allowing the body to clear the pigment naturally over subsequent days and weeks.
2. Enlarged Pores While pore size cannot be permanently altered, their visible appearance can be significantly reduced by addressing the sebaceous activity and skin texture that contribute to how prominent they appear. Quattro Toning's effect on pore appearance is one of the most consistently noticed outcomes by patients.
3. Skin Texture Surface irregularities — whether from prior acne, sun damage, or chronological ageing — affect how light reflects off the skin and therefore how "smooth" it appears. The treatment stimulates superficial cell turnover and supports a more uniform skin surface.
4. Skin Tone and Radiance Dull skin often reflects reduced cellular activity and accumulated surface changes. The toning component of the treatment improves the overall reflective quality of the skin — what patients typically describe as a "glow" or more awake appearance.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
Quattro Toning is suitable for a broad range of skin concerns and skin types. It is particularly well-suited to patients who:
- Have a mix of pigmentation, pore, and texture concerns rather than one isolated issue
- Want an effective maintenance treatment with minimal recovery time
- Are preparing skin quality ahead of a key event or photograph
- Are combining it with Youth Preserve (bio-remodelling) for a comprehensive monthly skin session
It is less appropriate as a primary treatment for very deep pigmentation such as melasma in darker skin tones, which requires careful assessment and individualised planning.
What to Expect
A session typically takes 30 to 45 minutes. Patients may feel a gentle warming or snapping sensation during treatment; most find it comfortable without topical numbing, though this can be applied if preferred.
Mild redness may be present for a few hours post-treatment. Most patients see gradual improvement over the week following treatment as the skin processes the effects, with continued improvement across a series of sessions.
July Offer: Quattro Toning Complimentary with Youth Preserve
Through 10–31 July 2026, patients who book Youth Preserve or Youth Preserve Structura receive a complimentary Quattro Toning session (valued at $600). This combination targets both skin biology (bio-remodelling from within) and skin surface (toning at the texture level) for a more comprehensive monthly improvement.
