ContourLux utilizes a biostimulator to rejuvenate your skin from the inside out. The active component is Poly-D-L-lactic Acid (PDLLA), a safe, FDA-approved, biocompatible, and biodegradable substance. Instead of adding volume to your skin, this form of dermal filler creates natural volume to the contours of your face, stripping off years from your skin.

How is the treatment done?
The product is injected directly into the treatment area and ends with a light massage to ensure that the product is evenly filled in the inner layers of the dermis.
What should I expect after the treatment?
Results can be seen immediately after the treatment. However, after a week, it’s normal for results to reduce slightly due to the solvent – water, being absorbed and excreted from the injected areas. Given time, you will again see more noticeable results over the next 1 to 2 months as the new collagen has generated gradually.
Once desired results have been achieved, ContourLux can last up to 2 years.
How many treatments do I need?
An average of 2 to 3 sessions is recommended for optimal results, with treatments done in intervals of 4 to 6 weeks.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime varies from individuals. For most it’s not uncommon to experience minor side effects such as redness, tenderness and bruising at and around the injection points. These are temporary and generally resolve after a few days.
Occasionally there may be slight bumpiness in the treated areas which will also resolve on their own in a few days.
Downtime is minimal and you can resume your normal daily activities within 1 to 2 days after the treatment.
