Dr Wu Yijun is a MOH-accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon with over 15 years of experience in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. She has extensive expertise in reconstructive microsurgery and facial aesthetic surgery, and is dedicated to helping patients achieve natural, harmonious results through safe, evidence-based surgical care.

As a female plastic surgeon, Dr Wu is a strong advocate for holistic wellness and believes that plastic surgery should improve both function and confidence while respecting each patient’s unique features and aesthetic goals.

Dr Wu graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2009. She subsequently obtained her Master of Medicine (Surgery) from NUS before completing her Plastic Surgery Specialist Training under the National Healthcare Group Plastic Surgery Residency Programme.

She served in Singapore’s public healthcare system for over 15 years and was the first full-time plastic surgeon at Woodlands Health, where she established and developed its Plastic Surgery Service. She continues to serve as a Visiting Consultant at Woodlands Health.

Committed to continual professional development, Dr Wu has trained under leading plastic surgeons in the United States, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan. In 2022, she was awarded the prestigious AO Craniomaxillofacial Fellowship Award to further refine her expertise in craniofacial surgery.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Wu is passionate about medical education. She served as Core Faculty for the National Plastic Surgery Residency Programme and was recognised for her contributions with the SingHealth Residency in SingHealth Excels (RiSE) Outstanding Faculty Award in 2023. She has also taught medical students as a Clinical Tutor and Adjunct Lecturer at both the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

Today, Dr Wu combines reconstructive precision with aesthetic artistry to deliver personalised surgical care, helping patients look and feel their best with natural, balanced results.
