ContourLux is highly versatile and can be used to treat various parts of the face which has dipped in collagen and appears drier, thinner and less elastic.

How is it done?

The product is injected directly into the treatment area and ends with a light massage to ensure that the product is evenly filled in the inner layers of the dermis.

How does it work?

As soon as the product is injected into the skin, it begins to actively fill the voids that occur as a result of skin aging and the loss of its own structural proteins.

At the target site, polylactide molecules start the immediate process of tissue renewal and collagen formation, to fill out any hollowness or lost volume and also smoothen out lines and wrinkles. Thanks to the porous structure of the ContourLux molecules, this allows for optimal collagen production and renewal under the skin.

In addition, polylactic acid actively stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid by mature skin cells to help improve hydration in your skin.

What should I expect after the treatment?

Results can be seen immediately after the treatment. However, after a week, it’s normal for results to reduce slightly due to the solvent – water, being absorbed and excreted from the injected areas. Given time, you will again see more noticeable results over the next 1 to 2 months as the new collagen has generated gradually.

Once desired results have been achieved, ContourLux can last up to 2 years.

How many treatments do I need?

An average of 2 to 3 sessions is recommended for optimal results, with treatments done in intervals of 4 to 6 weeks.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime varies from individuals. For most it’s not uncommon to experience minor side effects such as redness, tenderness and bruising at and around the injection points. These are temporary and generally resolve after a few days.

Occasionally there may be slight bumpiness in the treated areas which will also resolve on their own in a few days.

Downtime is minimal and you can resume your normal daily activities within 1 to 2 days after the treatment.
