Non-Surgical Nose Lift
The nose is one of the defining facial features many associate with beauty; a higher and sharper nose is deemed to be more attractive. It is no wonder Rhinoplasty, Nose ThreadLifts and Fillers have been gaining popularity especially in Asia.
Which Procedure For The Best Nose Job?
With these options available, which one should you go for to achieve the perfect nose of your dreams? We compare the three procedures for nose enhancement – traditional Rhinoplasty and new industry favourites Nose ThreadLifts and Fillers – according to factors such as risks, side effects and downtime.
Rhinoplasty | Nose ThreadLift | Nose Fillers |
Surgical, Invasive | Non-Surgical, Minimally-Invasive | Non-Surgical, Minimally-Invasive |
Able to lift, sharpen the nose tip and reduce width of nose for a smaller looking nose | Able to lift, sharpen the nose tip and reduce width of nose for a smaller looking nose | Able to heighten nose bridge but not able to sharpen the nose tip and reduce width of nose |

In short, when set side by side, it seems the Nose ThreadLift is the best choice, suited for individuals who are pain averse and prefer not to go under the knife yet desire a defined and higher nose bridge.
However, there are benefits to nose fillers as well and in the pursuit of the ideal nose, our doctors at The Sloane Clinic have explored combinations of techniques coupled with an understanding of the rules of aesthetics (think Greek Golden Ratio) all for the best nose lift. Our recent launch of a new technique – 3D Nose Lift – aims to give you a nose that is sharper and well-defined even when viewed 360 degrees!

What Is 3D Nose Lift?
It is a novel technique incorporating both ThreadLift and Fillers to enhance the subtle proportions and the 3D angles of the nose. This effective Nose Lift adds dimensions through:
1D: Definition of nose bridge using ThreadLifts
2D: Elevation of nose tip with Fillers
3D: Highlighting of nose with Revitalift
What Type Of Threads Is Used?
3D Nose Lift uses PDO (polydixanone) threads, clinically proven to be 100% bio-absorbable by the body. These threads work simultaneously to stimulate the production of new collagen and tissue fibro blasts meaning the definition and contour of a nose lift using PDO threads improves with time.
Here is a graphic representation of these threads. They are certainly a drastic improvement from when these threads were first used.
Notice the structure of the bio-cones. Their unique design with knots acts as a scaffolding to contour, give definition, sharpen, lift and shape the nose as desired without surgery.
What Type Of Filler Is Used?
Only dermal or hyaluronic acid fillers that are approved by the authorities as safe for use are carried at The Sloane Clinic.

What Is Revitalift?
Revitalift is a treatment procedure used to restore cellular activity, replenish the skin’s much needed collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid to create firmness and structure. Tiny drops of pure hyaluronic acid are infused into the skin and distributed evenly throughout the nose area via a series of microinjections.
Unknown to many, a beautiful nose actually comprises of the brow to the nasal tip. Hence, an appealing nose can be achieved by enhancing and highlighting this brow tip aesthetic line, which is an imaginary curvilinear line that begins at the inner eyebrow and runs along the shadow of the bridge to the tip.

How Does 3D Nose Lift Work?
3D Nose Lift is done under local anesthesia (painless) and under 30 minutes with instant visible results. Below is a short description:
Step 1: Local anesthesia is left for about 10 minutes to numb the nose area
Step 2: Identifying and marking the point of needle entry
Step 3: A small injection is placed before insertion of the thread
Step 4: The threads are placed horizontally into the nose bridge and vertically into the nose tip
Step 5: The fillers are carefully injected into the nose tip and molded for the perfect shape
Step 6: A device goes over specific areas of the nose to deliver pure hyaluronic acid
And you’re done!
Result: Higher nose bridge, sharper nose tip and smaller nose, all relatively painless and without downtime! Read about Christine’s experience here

How Long Does The Effect Of 3D Nose Lift Last?
While the holding threads and fillers dissolve and are reabsorbed safely into the body, they spur growth of new collagen to anchor the lifted nose, contributing to a longer lasting result of up to 2 years depending.
For best results, it is highly recommended to follow up with a treatment after 6 to 12 months.
What Are The Possible Side Effects Of 3D Nose Lift?
Patients may experience some discomfort, minor swelling or bruising as can be expected from similar injection procedures. However, there is no need for long recovery time as they resolve within 1-2 weeks. Patients can return to normal activities immediately after.
As compared to relying solely on Nose Fillers for nose enhancement, there is little if not no risk of migration or broadening.
As with any surgeries, there runs a risk of infection. However, as 3D Nose Lift is a simple procedure using fine and sterile needles, risk of infection is low.
Does The Type Of Nose Threads Used Matter?
As these threads are the underlying supporting structures of the lift, they contribute immensely to the result of the 3D Nose Lift. Threads that are too short, thin and smooth are unable to provide sufficient anchor leading to unsatisfactory, short-lived results while threads that are too thick increase possibility of scarring.
Conversely, the PDO threads used by us at The Sloane Clinic have a definitive structure that maximises the lifting and contouring effect. The desired result is immediately visible with only a single session required.
What Is The Cost Of 3D Nose Lift?
Prices start from S$3210, increasing with the number of threads used for optimal result.
